Park Güell is not just an iconic work by Antoni Gaudi, but it is also one of the most well-known instances of art nouveau in Barcelona. From references to Greek mythology to alchemy, religion, Catalan Renaissance, and Modernism, Parc Güell is a collection of symbols of Catalan identity, as it brims with undulating patterns and colors.

When you enter, you’ll be greeted by one of the park’s most well-known monuments: the Dragon Stairway, a visually stunning series of steps. The Hypostyle Room and the Laundry Room Portico will thereafter be discussed, as you walk around and experience the qualities and meaning of the modernist components on exhibit throughout the park.

You’ll also observe how the park’s design achieves a perfect marriage of architecture and nature. By the end, you’ll head to Park Güell viewpoint, which has great views of the city by the sea.
