The Palatine Hill is the midmost of the Seven Hills of Rome and considered to be the 1st nucleus of the Roman Empire.

In Roman Mythology, the Palatine Hill was the place where Hercules defeated Caucus, a fire-breathing giant and the son of Vulcan.

Another famous myth occurring in Palatine Hill was when Romulus and Remus were found and saved by Lupa, the she-wolf.
