Madison Square Garden

NEW YORK CITY 🇺🇸

Madison Square Garden

Madison Square Garden, sometimes known as The Garden or MSG, is a multi-purpose indoor arena in New York City. It is the fourth venue to hold the name “Madison Square Garden,” with the previous two (1879 and 1890) being on Madison Square, on East 26th Street and Madison Avenue, and the third (1925) built farther uptown at Eighth Avenue and 50th Street.

The Garden hosts professional ice hockey and basketball games, as well as boxing, concerts, ice shows, circuses, professional wrestling, and other sports and entertainment. It is home to the New York Rangers of the National Hockey League (NHL), the New York Knicks of the National Basketball Association (NBA), and the New York Liberty of the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) from 1997 to 2017.
